Knowing our Heavenly Father
The first book of the Scripture states; In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. He made the night and day. He formed every living things. From his image and likeness he created us. He provided well their needs. From zero he made everything. He loves all of them. Matthew 5:45 He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. He knows everything in us. Luke 12:7 Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
He always think good for us. He is a good father. He doesn't plan to harm his people. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. He chose us before we chose him.
Inspite of being rebellious of his people. He initiates to restore the broken relationship. He saved us not only to go to heaven but to be part of his royal family. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 1:12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God
Aside from making us his children, he rescued us from any kind of slavery. Galatians 4:7 So you are no longer a slave, but God's child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir. What Christ has, we have. Christ overcame the world. As a son is not a license to sin, it is declaring that sin has no power against us. We have also a power to overcome sin that wants to slave us.
No one is orphan anymore, through faith in Jesus Christ you will born in the family of God. Psalm 68:5 A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. Eartly father may leave you but our heavenly father will always there beside you.
We have an assurance through Jesus Christ. A son is always a son. He is powerful he can soften the heart of his child. Free will is a gift but Christ promised us no one can separate us from God. No one can stop God loving you. No one can separate us from his love. John 10:29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all[a]; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.
