Kadayawan 2017

Every year the people of Davao celebrated Kadayawan Festival. Composed of eleven tribes from different areas of the region. It has a lot of activities such as "Hiyas ng Kadayawan" showcasing the beauties of tribes, "Indak-Indak sa Kadalanan" a tribal street dance performed by group of energetic students from different schools, Floral Parade, Kaondayawan and many more. Local and foreign visitors will really enjoy this event. Below are some of our pictures during the event.

Situated at the heart of Davao City. Most of the artist and prominent figures stayed here.

Along the streets, you can find Kadayawan souvenirs.

"Kaondayawan" kaon means "eat". You can find and enjoy delicious street foods here.

We waited for our friends here. The lobby of Mandaya Hotel, Davao City. A conducive and affordable hotel for everybody.

For 32 years the people of Davao lived in harmony, in spite of different race, language, and culture. Unity behind diversity. What a wonderful it is. Happy Kadayawan!. Looking for the another year of fruitful celebration! Glory to God.

Ephesians 6:12  For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Today war between nation is rampant. Some are literal war using heavy canons, fighter planes, brave soldiers and more. War also inside the government, opposition against administration. It seems war has no ending. There are more war that are not visible in our eyes but happening in reality.  Life is a battle. Each one of us experienced everyday battle. Reach the Unreached

The Scripture says "and this gospel must be preach to the whole world, as a testimony to all nation, and the end will come." First let us calculate how many nation in the whole world? Some author says nation here represents a tribe. Given it is tribe or a group of people, then how many tribes therein the world? Did all the tribes already hear the gospel? If not, which tribe or nation did not reach the gospel? The bible clearly states that the end will come if all of this nation hear the gospel or was preach. We are challenge to reach the unreached! That's our mission! How many of us support this campaign of bridging the gospel to unreached nation? How many churches of today send missionaries to this area? Are we passionate in supporting them or are we just passive to this command?
