What does it mean to be a child of God?

                              


After we knew our Heavenly Father, How do we behave as a child of God? Early believers declares that God supplied their needs. The Scripture told us, He is the same yesterday, today and forever. So don't be worry, be happy, God is our Provider. He is our Jehovah Jireh. See the birds on the air? We are so much valuable than all the creation of God. God gave us strength and opportunities to live. Psalm 37:25 I was young and now I am old,�    yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken?  or their children begging bread.

You must think as a child of the most high God. You were born in the royal family. Do not look yourselves as a slave. We are not average, we are not mediocre. God gave us enough strength to overcome obstacles in life. God gave us enough time to enhance our skills, talents and gifts. Let us offer our best of worship to Him. 2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed. Think, talk and act as a son, not a slave. A child will love the work and follow the works of a good father. Everything we do for God is inspired by love. Galatians 4:7 (NIV)So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.

Let us be secured in our Father's arms. Earthly father will do his best to rescue his child. How much more our heavenly father? No one can separate us from His love. John 10:28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. Our heavenly father is a good father. A loving father is always waiting and be glad for his child to come home. Luke 15:21 “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you.I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. 23 Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. 24 For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.

Through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, we were born in the family of God. No one is orphan anymore. We have a great father in heaven. No one should be lonely and feeling alone. He will always there beside you. Psalms 68:5 A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.

Out of love we share the love of God. As we experienced his love we develop compassion to others. We want them to belong in God's family. Mark 16:15 He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation."

As one body in Christ we help others to grow. Mentoring them like what our Lord Jesus did. Having the same mind and heart. Matthew 28:18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
